We are continuously recruiting for Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to work in home care and supported living. We offer flexible working hours and the some of the roles are suited for people with other jobs.  The best part is ‘you choose when and how you would want to work’. Experience – Please note, there is no experience required for Healthcare Assistants. If you have no work experience, we will arrange Induction Training, to which you will shadow one of our experienced Senior Carers. We may ask you to do more shadowing if we are not satisfied that you have gain the required knowledge and confidence to work on your own.

Workers can either be employed by SAP Care Services Ltd or be self-employed. If you’re employed by us, you will be on our payroll systems, enjoy benefits such as Pensions and Holiday Pay. If you are self-employed, we will require some documentation and proof of self-employment, however, as you won’t be employed by us, you will be liable for managing your tax liabilities. Please note, we do not work with Umbrella companies. We pay our staff on a weekly basis.

Recruitment and Induction process

Upon receiving your job application form, if you meet our requirements, you will be called for an interview. We try to arrange interviews within 2 weeks from receiving your application form. During the interview, we will explain SAP Care’s core values, Code of Conduct and what the job roles entails. You will also have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the position you applied for. 

If you are successful during the interview, we will need to process your Disclosure Barring Checks (DBS) . This will take up to 2 weeks although there are fast track checks that can be requested if you wish. Once this has been confirmed and SAP Care has received the original copy confirming no criminal records, we will then arrange for you to do all the Mandatory Trainings required. These trainings will need to renewed every 12 months. Please note, we will request 2 references.

SAP Care supports Personal and Professional Development of Staff. We have access to qualifications for personal developments and continue to encourage our staff to take fully funded Diploma courses.

We do regular appraisals, to which you get an opportunity to speak to you manager. You will have the opportunity to express your concerns and your manager is trained to help find ways to progress with your career in the Healthcare Industry.
